I have spent my career stringing words together to enlighten and inspire. This has taken many forms over the years, from publishing books and editing magazines to reaching communities through social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, where just 140 characters can make or break you.
Everyone has a story to tell and whether you are an individual or a business there’s an audience out there. The evolution of digital communications has brought the audience closer than ever but unless your message is inspiring and engaging, it’s an opportunity missed.
I work with a variety of clients, from global businesses to creative individuals, charities, cultural events and festivals – what they have in common is a fascinating story and an audience that desires engagement, entertainment and information.
My skills include managing editorial and marketing projects, copywriting, feature writing, editorial training and working with designers to create beautiful books, magazines and marketing materials digitally and in print.
I am the travel editor for Homes & Antiques magazine and the consulting editor for eSociety, the online journal for the Society of British and International Design. You’ll also find my work in FRANCE Magazine, the Miniclicks Publication; Living France; Brittany Ferries’ Voyage and the French Tourist Board magazine Rendez-Vous en France.
I train journalists and copywriters and can create bespoke training courses for your organisation covering editorial skills, content creation and social media skills.
